Beanie ("hat" made of wool)

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: YES photo is taken in the middle of the summer even though I have a beanie ("hat" of wool) on. It's better to look a bit "stupid" than getting ill.

Or as they say back north:
Dress according to the weather and not to the calendar...
((Look outside befor dressing - don't mind that the calendar says July if the weather outside says October))

You can buy beanie everywhere - all year - in Norway.
Great as a souvenir.

Make sure it's made of wool... (acrylic make your hair static and isn't as warm as the woolen ones)

Clothes

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Always bring a windbreaker, good if its also water-resistant.
Shoes that are made for walking, walking, walking. Also walking into the rough mountain.
Woollen sweater. Sitting outside watching the midnightsun can be chilly even on a warm summer.
