At last, stepping into the country where it was famous in the 1970's but never got a chance to. With its old image being shed (like the old russian planes) to the new image (like the new 777), Ho Chi Minh (of the new Vietnam) is slowly being the place to go to see for yourself..... what really happened then and whats happening now.
This is a place for a real holiday |
| | The war..... There are still remants of the war - reminding us how cruel war can be. The loser is the always the people of the country where the war ravages. Now the tourist like me gets a chance to see places like Cu Chi Tunnels or the war remnants museum. Either way, you will see the "other side" of the story. |
| | Shopping Now Ho CHi Minh is a shoppers paradise. The many markets like the Ben Thanh Market offers a wide range of stuff to buy. |
