Latest | Gibraltar "The Rock" view from La Linea, Spain |
Well the time certainly flies by and thank God, I so needed a holiday. The picture is of Gibraltar, I went there for a relaxing weeks holiday and ended up getting quite drunk on a few occasions and cooking breakfast by candlelight at 4am whilst drunk.
This picture was taken on the balcony of my friends I stayed with, this is their view everyday, some people are so lucky.
I plan to visit again in the summer season and take a week going around Cataluna, Spain. I think barcelona is certainly on the list of places to go as well as salvidor Dali's museum, oh and the beach. |
|  | Sunsets There are three things I love about the world:
One - That we are able to travel to wherever we damn well please
Two - Palm trees, they remind me of sunny exotic places
Three - Sunsets, nothing is more perfect than watching the fantastic colours of a great sunset.

Belize visit Belize, multi-culture blending at it's best. A beautiful Country, with lovely people and so much to do, I can't believe I didn't go there before.
I went to Belize with my folks in November 2004, for 3 weeks and I did so much and saw so much, that it took me 3 weeks to recover from it.
The main picture is of Caracol an ancient Mayan City in the Cayo district of Belize, this ancient city overlooks the Gautemalan border and is the tallest man-made Mayan stucture in Belize, it stands at 138 ft (42 metres).

| | The Past Whats in my past? Lots of things, but what I mean is my home country.
South Africa, I was born there in the wee hours of the morning on the 8th of April 1981, in a town called Mowbray in Cape Town, apparently next door to a mental hospital(explains a few things), since that glorious day, I have been wisked around from place to place and have never really settled.
My family moved from Cape Town to Jo'burg, then to Durban, then to Jo'burg and back to Cape Town, whilst in those places we did a fair bit of moving around in the area. All this before the age of 9.
I left South Africa when I was 10 and we all moved to sunny England (or so I was led to believe)to start a new life. Since being in UK I've done nothing but try to leave, I hate the place, unfortunately I was bullied heavily at schools in the UK and I suppose that has affected my judgement of the country.(bring out the violins)
The sad truth is I am probably more english than I was ever South African, but if anyone asks I'm South African and always will be, well, I was born there after all. |
Sugarpuff A.K.A. Cha-Cha Vicky or Cha-Cha as she is also known, also calls herself sugarpuff on Virtual Tourist (I'm guessing she named herself after the cereal)
I worked with Vicky in Gibraltar, where she is from and we became friends. She has since moved to China and is now working as a reporter for a TV company as well as a translater for film stars!!! Such a lucky gal.
We chat often and trade insults, which passes the time and creates a few minutes of laughter in my otherwise dull life.

Chavs or trailer trash One of my friends, VT member Sugarpuff informed me of a fantastic site, chavscumIt's all about the lives and social behaviours of of a class of people, simply known as chavs, you'll know them as the people who wear tartan caps, where tracksuits, white trainers and plenty of oversized "bling". These are the people taking over full areas by being anti-social, boring, bland, social dependants and generally downright scummy. Check out the website for non stop laughter. |
