My Husband and I spent four months in Vanuatu working and it was breathtaking. We found the people for the most part charming and friendly and the island (outside of the Port Vila area, like Lelepa) lush and gorgeous.

I can't believe we missed the waterfall in Port Vila! You've got some wonderful tips here....and looks like we missed lots of good stuff! We rarely left our hotel ! ;-)) (We stayed at Le Lagon as well!) Not as secluded as Tanna but still nice!
