This is one of the most beautiful cities in the world but to me, this is the second most beautiful city in BC after Victoria. It's the largest metropolitan area in western Canada, the third largest in the country and consistently ranked one of the three most livable cities in the world. It is named after Captain George Vancouver, a British explorer. In Van you can: ski, sail, sunbathe (yes, Van has beaches), hike, fish, dive and much more, all within a few minutes of the city center... what more can you ask!!
