Walking in the countryside

Finding little pathways like this was always exciting. These paths really were a great way to appreciate the flora and fauna, the birds and all that lovely scenery.

Walking in the countryside

One passtime that I enjoyed was walking through the countryside. In Britain the 'right to roam' law allows people the freedom to walk cross country without trespassing. Some areas cannot be accessed but it was a novelty for me to traipse across cow paddocks and sheep fields at will. You must of course respect farmers property and livestock and those lovely little stiles over the fences were fun to use.
This passtime is free, healthy and a great way to get some good photos. Some public walks were sign posted with little arrows etc and I constantly found well used and well constructed little pathways for the public. It was like going on a little adventure and these paths took you to, through and accross some lovely countryside.
