"Bath...a town of beauty" Bath by lou31

Everyone had said to me how beautiful Bath is and somehow I didn't really take them seriously. The two hours we spent there was nowhere near enough time to enjoy this place properly.
The first I saw of it really fascinated me. The town itself is spread out over rolling hills with rows of houses in amongst the trees. It makes for a unique sight.
Being there in Spring was a bonus as the gardens were lovely. A canal and park near the town centre was an enjoyable place to walk and rest.
- Pros:A pleasantly set out town with lots to do.
- Cons:Packed with tourists in spring and summer months.
- In a nutshell:Colourful, clean and full of life.

I love tiny little streets...like those in the Gamla Stan...getting lost is half the fun, hehehe...Norman :) ...and, lol, I think I will try those "huge buns" in your restaurant tip, hehehe
Great tips and photos. I especially like the tip on Sally Lunn's. Best from New Jersey, Bill
We used to eat sally Lunns in NZ and I had no idea why they were called that.
Wonderful pictures and tips on Bath. Keep'em coming !
