Stratford was a must see for me and I spent 3 whole days exploring this pretty place. Luckily the weather was fine and warm and of course that brought out all the charm I had hoped to find there. Apart from the crowds of people flocking the streets and parks I managed to enjoy this town as it really was a beautiful place. My stay here stands out as one of the highlights of my holiday. |
| | Crowds... I read somewhere that Stratford receives something like 6 million visitors a year. I thought maybe it was a miss print but going by the crowds there I wouldn't be at all surprised. At least because of all the people there are plenty of shops and restaurants. |
and quiet places. Georgeous places like this make up for the crowds. The colour of the trees and grass was just like the picture... I must admit I didn't go much into the history of the town and it's connection to William Shakespeare...I was having too good a time. But if you are into that sort of thing you will be fascinated by Stratford. Old world charm, quaintness, and lots of colour! | | | The brilliant green was everywhere. |
