Troglodyte caves
Yesterday i went to visit the Troglodyte caves in Ghariyan. The transport was efficient as we paid for the majority of seats in the shared taxi. After arriving we walked North of the taxi park for 200m, until we arrived at the site. We were allowed to enter after paying 5 Libyan Dinars. We walked around and it was Ok as an attempt has been made to make it look presentable. I was disappointed.
Around the site there are 5 or 6 other sites, these are NOT developed and are disgusting. Such a historical place is being used as a rubbish dump.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Transport availability
- Cons:Dirt and rubbish.
- In a nutshell:NOT worth the taxi fare.
