|  | Guatemala is a land trying to reconcile with her past and coming to grips with modernity. The land is beautiful from the volcanoes to the jungle forests of the Peten. The beaches are underdeveloped yet the natural ecosystem still lures visitors to her beaches. The people are very friendly and many will go out of their ways to offer help if need be. The landscape is what fascinates me, there are many volcanoes here which provide lots of drama and the beaches have black sand. There is something for everyone here. |
