I walked down rue Lepic in Montmartre right around rush hour. It was interesting to see how many locals were carrying baguettes in their hands on their way home, including this cute one.

Etienne Marcel: Fashion Epicenter of Paris

Being that I live in new york, I was hoping to see what kind of fashion the locals would wear. The fashion that has made Paris world famous. Interestingly enough, I reckon the average Parisian to be "classy"--sportjackets abounded on both men and women, boot cut jeans were popular with both as well. But the "edge" that so typifies London or New York in many different neighborhoods was more localized: especially alongside the Etienne Marcel Metro Station on a Saturday afternoon. This is where Elle Korea and Vogue Japan do their streetstyle shoots from. Here is one example:
