I think life goes by really, really fast and you've got to take the time to appreciate it before it's all gone. It's kind of like when you jump from a plane. The side door opens up at 10,000 feet and your window of opportunity opens up. If you hesitate, you may lose your chance--for an unexpected wind turbulence may come along and blow away your present opportunity. But when you jump from a plane, you jump with everything that you've got--your whole body goes into what you do. And just as when you free fall at 125 miles per hour, so life has it's fast moments. As a jump has it's time for a mid air somersault , so life has it's time and place for everything. Welcome to my world of adventure, insight, and travel. |

| | I also love animals Zoo's are great! In a way, I think each one of us can resemble personality traits of any one animal. One time for instance, I had a friend who said I would be a stallion--because I work hard (and my natural good looks--joke). Maybe you could argue that I'd be a pigeon, there are so many of them in NYC and after all, I am just one of eight million here.
But more realistically I'd probably classify myself as a Dalmation. Intelligent and classy.
And you? What animal would you be if you could be any animal and why? |

| | I was born in Guatemala City I was born in Guatemala City, the capital of Guatemala.
When I was born, there was a guy who worked at General Mills in Guatemala. One day he went to a dinner party and crossed paths with a local Guatemalan, Magda. From across a room he saw her and thought she was pretty. So he asked his friend to see if she was single and dating. Which she was!
9 months and one wedding later, when they moved to the states, they decided it was their dream to adopt a child from Guatemala.
So, at a mere six months old, I was given to Mutti--, my adopted mom's mother. And two years later, I was on a plane back to the U.S. with my parents. I have to be one of the luckiest people alive to have had such a fortunate upbringing. If it were not for my parents, I might very well be selling mango slices on a street corner somewhere in Zone 3 in Guatemala City. Instead, I am working amidst the high rises of Manhattan and living comfortably in what I believe is America's greatest city.
Thanks mom and dad! You did a wonderful job bringing me up and I am proud of your patience, love, and longsuffering committment to my general welfare. :) |
