It should, as the audio guide/commentary mentioned, be one's first stop in KL as it would give one a general idea of the locations of the landmarks and tourist attractions. The observation deck also sits at 421m high, which means you can see as far as the horizon, and you can be sure there's lots to see! There's also an imprint on glass of the highest telecommunications towers in the world, which makes for good picture taking. Finally, at the ground floor, you can find glass decorations called "muqarnas", which was designed and made in Iran, a impressive, glittering ceiling. There is an entrance fee of RM15/-. For more details, refer to my travelogue.

The best thing about our Sky Bridge visit at the Petronas Twin Towers, was that it was FREE!! All you had to do is know where to queue for the tickets (B1 of the office tower) where they start giving out tickets from 0830 every day with visits starting from 0900 hours. We got our (1645hour slot) tickets at 1000 hours but the staff informed that on a popular day (which i guess includes weekends and public holidays), the tickets run out by 1000 hours. The view on the Sky Bridge was not as spectacular as one would have expected because we were allowed to walk along the bridge only, which meant that our views were obstructed on both sides by the Twin Towers. We were not allowed to get to the top floor of the towers as they were offices. Still, it was sufficient to see the garden just outside the building, which was quite pleasing to the eyes. For more details, refer to my travelogue.

According to the write-up recommending this Firefly Park trip, it stated that this is only one of two places in the world (of course, there was no mention of the other place) that you can see fireflies in their natural habitat. It takes a special kind of situation - to be exact, only an area where fresh water meets seawater - to get these fireflies to congregate. I'm guessing there must be more than 2 places that offer this sight but perhaps, these TWO places are where you can see a large number of them? It was on this premise that i persuaded my friends to go... And from the oohs and aaahs heard that evening, i'm quite sure everyone had a good enough experience. We were at first doubtful whether they were real as they mostly 'stuck' to the trees, but on closer inspection, we could see them flitting between branches and trees. One nearly even landed on my palm! A display of Christmas trees would seem to describe the scene perfecty, although you shouldn't expect to see something as brght as our own Orchard Road light up of course. The phenomenon of the light up is of a mating ritual. Admission charges are RM10 per adult and RM 6 per kid. The 'show' starts from 1 hour after sunset till early morning but the park closes at 2230 hours.
