    • The Plantation Club is possibly the top resort hotel in Mahe. The rooms are split-level with high celings and balconies with a beach view. They all have satellite TV.

    Facilities include a nice swimming pool, tennis courts, free water sports and a casino.

    It was built on what used to be a 180-acre coconut plantation and is in a fairly isolated location in the south-west of the island.

    Unique Qualities: The Miss World contest was held here.

    • The grounds of the Plantation Club are very attractive. The beach is at the rear, there is an escarpment, with lush tropical vegetation, at the front and a lagoon along one side.

    Unique Qualities: Beautiful setting.
