The Hotel Ibis Moussafir is a 3* hotel, with more than 100 rooms. If you are planning to travel around Morocco, it has an excellent location, next to the train station and Supra Tours bus office/terminal and not far from the CTM bus office/terminal. It is especially good for early morning arrivals and departures. Not only that, I found it to be the best of the mid-range Gueliz hotels I looked at, and I looked at quite a few, including Hotel Agdal, Hotel Amalay and Hotel Kenza.
It has a beautiful swimming pool and garden, so I'd recommend getting a room with a pool view. A double room with breakfast cost DH428 per night.

I booked the Ayoub Hotel online for £25 per night for a double room, half board. When I tried to extend the booking at the hotel reception desk I found the local rate for a double room, without meals, was a much higher DH500.
So, this is a good hotel to book online, in advance. The rooms are good, with airconditioning and they have small balconies. There is a restaurant, bar and small swimming pool. The buffet breakfast and dinner are OK, but nothing special. The nearest attraction is Jardin Majorelle.
The main problem is that it is a long way from the Medina, in a street where taxis are quite rare.
