Nha Trang's main attraction is its 5km-long beach, but it's also a thriving fishing port, with a bustling market and plenty of nightlife.

This was the last stronghold of the Cham civilization, which once dominated Vietnam, and overlooking the city is one of the most important archaeological sites in Vietnam: the Cham towers of Thap Ba Ponagar.

I liked Nha Trang so much that I headed back there from Hue, rather than pushing on to see Hanoi.

The colour of Nha Trang is most definitely blue: the sea, the sky and the fishing boats.

Nice photos and tips! I only spent a few hours in Nha Trang in 1995 before catching the night train to Da Nang. We did see the Cham towers on the way in, though.

Beautiful pages! Just a small tip... What is the color of Nha trang beach? Looking the photos, I see colors more like mediterranean than a tropical beach. Is it true? Greetings from Athens
