Rome is an amazing city, full of buildings you've seen a million times in movies and photographs. It is actually a little overwhelming, since there is so much to see and so much history there it's almost impossible not to feel you are in a museum no matter where you are. Be careful, though, because as a tourist it's easy to be taken advantage of.
