A Typical City, A Happening Place Pasig City. It is also known as Manila’s business district, next to Makati City. I used to dread going to Pasig City or the Ortigas area when I was still working in Makati. It’s because I don’t want to be caught in traffic but I had no choice. I had to meet with clients that are based in Pasig or meet up with friends who requested to meet halfway (who are from the north, whilst I’m from the south).
It’s a typical city with malls, strings of restaurants and shops. It’s also a happening place. |

| | Ortigas: My 2nd Home I used to hate traveling all the way from Makati to Ortigas to meet up with friends. During my six-day break in the Philippines recently, I spent most of my time in Ortigas instead of Makati! Don’t get me wrong, I am (and will always be) a Makati girl, but it’s just that the new baby is in Ortigas, Pasig, Foodash! This is the restaurant that I started together with my two other colleagues/friends in Singapore. We conceptualised everything in Singapore but finalised all the things in the Philippines. Quite a challenge, huh? Yeah, it sure was. Addictively good, positively challenging.
The food is oh so good! I’m not just saying this because I’m one of the owners. I’m saying this because it’s really good and affordable. |
Writers-turned-Restaurateurs Waiting for the guests as we don on our cool shirts and denim aprons with Foodash! buttons. Account specialists/writers in Singapore, restaurateurs in the Philippines. Cool, eh? | | | partners@work, at the counter |

| Pros: | "It’s a city on its own, no need to travel far. It’s where Foodash! is!" | | Cons: | "Traffic. When it rains, cabbies are usually choosy!" | | In A Nutshell: | "I now consider it my second home, a place that will jumpstart something big." |
