Greetings! I recently spent 6 months in Sierra Leone working at an orphanage. It was pretty incredible. I went over to help with the school, especially in teaching phonics and handwriting. Those plans changed. I was blessed to get to be a foster mother to a sick, orphaned little baby--Solomon. So I'll try to update my Sierra Leone pages as I have time. :-) Enjoy!

Well, let's see. I am an alum of Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!!).
I have a degree in Anthropology and minor in German.
I love to travel--whether as a tourist or as a member of a mission trip team, mostly the mission trips though. I have a passion to serve in developing countries, though I'm still trying to figure out what to focus on. After working with orphans, I'm very much interested in public health or social work-type stuff, but it's all a work in progress.

16. Europe: Latvia, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Albania, Belarus, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic...and all the ones I haven't yet mentioned
