Zhaoqing is a sleepy old city located in the west Pearl River Delta. It is on the banks of Xi River. It is about 100km from Guangzhou.
It is famous for its lake which is offers a beautiful scenice site during the evening. We took the boat ride in the evening and the scenary, although some of it is artificially stuffed in (like the lights under the trtees), was close to breath-taking..the evening brereze was refreshing and it was a nice experience. We also treekd the Dinghu Shan during the day.
