Simply Barbados - Barbados

With an almost perfect climate and its friendly Bajan charm, how can you resist Barbados? The island consists of superb sandy beaches, rolling green hills and thick fields of sugar cane. On the east coast are spectacular rock formations where the rollers from the Atlantic Ocean beat against the shore. The west coast, on the Caribbean side, is home to some of the finest hotels in the Caribbean. Barbados was the first country to export rum, and a tour around one of the distilleries provides an interesting excursion. Duty free shopping in the capital Bridgetown, is also a popular way to spend some time. Get on one of the buses and explore the local terrain. If you're feeling active, then the many watersports will surely keep you occupied. And if you've still got energy left, sample the hectic nightlife! The choice of restaurants and bars is absolutely endless. But if you just want to chill out and relax, Barbados can provide you with the perfect opportunity.
