Nightlife Spot: Ryans Pub (Irish Pub)

Ryans is a very popular pub situated in Spinola Bay, St.Julians (just off the bay) If you are interested in watching football and if you love beer this is the place to be! You can also eat fish and chips, spare ribs, burgers, chicken nuggets and they make really good small pizzas. Inside it is all air-conditioned but you can sit outside if you wish. At times there are even live bands especially on Fridays and Saturdays! Ryans is also open Sunday afternoon for those who wish to have beer in the afternoon !

Dress Code: No dress requirements but everyone is always very casual and relaxed. In Summer afternoons it is always very hot so I recommend very light clothing !

Nightlife Spot: The Sun in Splendor

This is a very central pub at the beginning of Paceville just opposite the playground which is in front of the Palace of Grand Master Spinola. Very small place which can get stuffy at times however what's nice about it that you can have a relaxing beer and watch football. At times they even have live bands. At this place there is also a beer garden !

Nightlife Spot: Bedouin Bar !

Bedouin is an open air bar at the Westin Dragonara Hotel just at the side of the Casino. The atmosphere is really nice as it is decorated with cushions and rugs where one can relax while having a drink. The place is all dark with dim lighting. Since the place is surounded by the sea the affect of the lights on the water makes a really nice affect.

Nightlife Spot: 7 Rooms

7 Rooms was once called Bamboo bar and it is situated just outside the Westin Dragonara Presmies. Here you can have a relaxing drink or cocktail and meet loads of international people. The place is always filled with young students who come to Malta to learn English.
The place is surrounded with palm trees and has 7 sort of gazebos drapped with white drapes and cushions that makes the place look original !

Nightlife Spot: Piece of Cake !

Piece of Cake is a cafeteria situated in the corner of one of the roads in Paceville. Here you can have a light snack, coffee, tea, a softdrink and many different cakes to choose from. I have placed this tip under nightlife as this place is open during the day and even during the evening.

Nightlife Spot: Muddy Waters

This bar is somewhat small however very popular especially in Winter even though in Summer people tend to hang outside. personally I like going to this place in Winter however it is very difficult to park in the area. This place is popular for bands !

Yeah this place is called Going Places ! Here you can relax outside or inside and have a drink however the music is party style music and at times it can get a bit heavy for me ! well its a matter of opinion !
