Zurrieq is a small village situated close to Qrendi and Hal Kirkop. I think it is one of the nicest places to be especially in the Blue Grotto area (at the tip of Zurrieq) however in Summer it is very popular as many people visit it.
One can access the 'Blue Grotto' that is the cave by boat but be careful when swimming in the area when its rough seas and weather because the water here is very deep and there are loads of under water currents and many people lost their lives here especially scuba divers. If you like scuba diving this is the place to go ! |
