"Beyond Shopping and Dinning..." Bangkok by ECYM

Since Aug 2004, I have visited this City of Angel at least four times, thanks to budget airlines of course. Twice, I had use BKK as a transit stop to continue my journey to other parts of Thailand.

For example, in Aug 2004, I spent 4 days in BKK, exploring Ayuttaya and Kanchanaburi before I departed from BKK to Koh Samui for another 4 days and catch my return flight the next day.

In Jan 2005, I started my journey from BKK up north to Chiang Mai via bus and train before taking an internal flight back to BKK. It was a fruitful trip, visited other lesser-known provinces like Lop Buri, Pitsanuloke, Suthkothai, and then Chiang Mai.

Other trips to BKK alone were with my parents and friends just to eat and shop... kekeke...

• Pros:Cheap and delicious food & groceries
• Cons:Traffic....
• In a nutshell:Never tell the Tuk Tuk/Taxi Driver which tourist attraction you wanna go, tell them to bring you to the nearest street/building...
