Four Wheel Drive

My First Trip To Phuket-Sep 2003

DAY ONE

After much preparation, we set to Phuket via Silkair from Singapore to Phuket.

We reached Phuket at around 2pm and was welcomed by our guide. He speaks good English and took us to for a short city tour.

First he took us to a Gem Boutique, had a welcome drink and left that place. :P Next stop, a local product shop where we bought plenty of snacks for our friends/relatives in Singapore. We also visited a small restaurant which serves Birdnest and Sharkfins. The guide brought us to a T-Shirt wholesaler, each T-Shirt costs S$4.

Lastly, the guide took us to a Four-Wheel Drive Range as shown here. Each pax was given about 15 to 30 mins of drive time costs 800bht.

Later in the evening, the guide took us to our resort, Kamala Bay Terrace Resort, see Here for my review on this resort. After checking in to our rooms, we settled for a quick bath and headed to the resort's Thai restaurant for our first dinner.

Koh Phi Phi & Other Islands

DAY TWO

At around 8.30am, we set off to the Laguna Ferry Terminal to board a speedboat to the outlaying islands include Koh Phi Phi. We snorkelled for almost an hour before we set off to another island (which i forgotten the name) for a lunch. After dinner, we set off for another snorkelling session before we ended this excursion at Khai Island for a rest.
After that excursion, we went to Patong Town to have our seafood dinner.

DAY THREE

Our third day, we spent the whole morning and afternoon at Kamala Beach, took a shuttle from our resort to the beach, we paid 250 baht for a traditional thai massage at the beach. We ended our third night with shopping at Patong Beach.
Maya Bay, Koh Phi Phi
