    Getting TO/AROUND: Sunday, January 16, Hans and I went to ISLA MUJERES for the day. We started off taking the R1 Bus, from the hotel zone(6.50 pesos or .65 U.S. You can use U.S. dollars but you will get change in pesos) to Puerto Juarez. Just look at the writing at the top of the bus if it says "Pto Juarez" This takes you to the GRAN PUERTO where you will take the ferry to Isla Mujeres.

    Getting TO/AROUND: After arriving by bus to Gran Puerto, we bought our tickets for the ULTRAMAR FERRY. Tickets were 70 pesos or $7.00 U.S. return.
    There is continuous departures every 30 minutes from 5:30 a.m. to midnight.
    Pop and bottled water were available on the boat for 10 pesos or $1.00 U.S.

    Getting TO/AROUND: There are many ways to get around Isla Mujeres. The most popular mode seems to be the golf carts. We were told we could rent the carts for $45.00 for the day.
    Other modes of transportation were--bicycles, scooters, taxis and my favourite --by foot.
    One Rental Place is Mega Ciro's for Golf Cart & Motorbike Rentals.Rent by hour or day.
