CREEMORE -- A COUNTRY HIDEAWAY

Step back in time when you visit the charming, historic village of CREEMORE, which was founded in 1842. Nicely situated in the Valley of the Mad and Noisy Rivers and easily accessed from all directions. Surrounded by the Purple Hills, Creemore is south of Collingwood and Wasaga Beach, West of Barrie, and Northwest of Toronto (Via Airport Road and County Road 9).

FARMERS' MARKET

From May to Thanksgiving, there is a Farmers' Market every Saturday morning. That's the day we went to Creemore. There was a nice selection of fresh produce, home-made jams and cookies and a few arts & crafts.

Ontario's favourite microbrewery CREEMORE SPRINGS BREWERY and North America's smallest Jail is right in the village.

The area certainly has lots to offer. I loved staying at the B& B especially because of the wonderful Belgian Horses. Thanks for stopping by.

I'd never heard of Creemore before, but it looks like a wonderful little town, especially in the summer.

Great shopping tips, Lori. I'd spend some hours in the bookstore, while my husband would be so happy to check the Creemore Clock & Watch.

Lake Couchiching! What a nice name! I would never had thought that there might be a traditionnal clocksmith in such a small place! I wonder how he can make a living!

Great page and suggestions. I'd choose the bookstore, farmer's market, lake and probably the beach.
