Hans, Jane (CDNJane) and I spent a wonderful afternoon together. After meeting up in Horseshoe Valley, we headed for Orillia, checked out the casino there -- Casino Rama, and stopped by Lake Couchiching. After we all had an ice cream and it was only 3:30, we decided to go on to Midland and see the Martyrs' Shrine, which is absolutely beautiful and so
peaceful and serene. We then went out to eat and then headed back to Horseshoe Valley where we left our truck. All in all it was a wonderful day spent with a good friend. Thanks Jane. You're the Best. |

The style of the Martyr's shrine is amazing! That reminds me of Aberdeen in Scotland! It is sad to read the story of these martyrs. |
