Hans and I really enjoyed our visit to Bennington. So much history here. It was a cloudy day and it rained a bit, esp when we were visiting Old First Church and the Obelisk. It cleared up a bit, but my biggest disappointment was that I did not get to see the covered bridges - all 3 of them. We got on the # 7 highway instead of taking the 7a road. We couldn't turn around, so had to just kept on going. BooHoo!

93m high Bennington Battle monument impresses very much and reminds the Monument in Washington. Hope you will see the covered bridges next time!
