GENZA BOTTOM VALLEY, WALNUT CREEK

Home of the world's largest Amish settlement. this region is composed of Holmes, Wayne, Tuscarawas, Coshocton, Knox, Ashland, Richland and Start counties. Amish cities include Canton, Wooster and Mansfield. Amish towns include Berlin, Charm, Zoar, Sugarcreek, Walnut Creek and Berlin.
These pages feature Walnut Creek, a very small farming community overlooking the Genza Bottom Farming Valley. The afternoon that we were there, a few artists were painting the beautiful view of the valley pictured here.

I think Amish culture is so cool. I really love their determination to follow their religion. But you won't get to far in one of those buggies. You might need hard core movers

Lori, lovely little page about this quaint place. Der Dutchman seems to be quite the right restaurant for you. *winkygrin*

Nice photos in your tips and travelogues. I have been to similar places in Pennsylvania, but not Ohio.

I never knew that part of Ohio is so beautiful. Much of what I've seen of Ohio is flat and not very scenic.

Great restaurant tip! Similar landscapes to the place I live in, except that many our cows are not fenced :-)
