SARASOTA VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER

One of our first stops was at the SARASOTA VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER. We needed some maps of the area and brochures on what to see and do in the area. Well, got lots of info as this was one huge information center. The ladies there were so helpful. I even bought some post cards there as they were 4 / $1.00

ART CENTER SARASOTA

Featuring a broad spectrum of workshops, exhibits, classes and arts eduction programming in the visual arts, ART CENTER SARASOTA is led by respected and nationally known professionals. Their goal is to increase awareness and appreciation of art in all its forms. Artists featured are from the local community.

SARASOTA CLASSIC CAR MUSEUM Car Museum Review

Just down the street from our Motel was the SARASOTA CLASSIC CAR MUSEUM which features a collection representing over 100 years of automotive history.Vintage autos, classics, muscle cars, exotics and one-of-a-kinds are on exhibit.
See "Cars of the Stars" such as John Lennon's Mercedes Roadster, Paul McCartney's Mini Cooper and even a dragster driven by Don Garlits.
Also features an antique and photo display, a playable antique game arcade and a huge gift shop.
Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
