    Hans, his brother Wim and I stayed at the BONAMANZI GAME PARK in a Tree House for three nights. It was our "Home" while we visited three game reserves located in the area -- Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve -- Mfabeni/Cape Vidal -- Mkuzi Game Reserve and the St. Lucia Estuary.
    Update: April 12, 2007
    As requested I searched for todays prices for the 2 bed Treehouse. It is now 310 Rand per person sharing.

    Unique Qualities: As Bonamanzi is itself a game reserve, there were an abundance of animal life there, including impala, kudu and monkeys and plentiful number of birds also. In the evening you could hear the monkeys on top of the roof of our tree house.

     It must have been really exciting to see and photograph all those animals. Thanks for your warnings about the monkeys - I might have been tempted to approach them. Loved your pictures!
