LA CITE' MEDIEVALE DE CARCASSONNE Ever since I heard and read about CARCASSONNE I dreamed about going there one day. I imagined it as a magical place, rich in medieval history. I mentioned my desire to go there, with Hans' brother Wim from Holland. When he said that he would love to go to Carcassonne with us, I was absolutely thrilled.
So in September, 2000 Hans, Wim and I made the journey to southern France and did indeed visit Carcassonne. So come along with us and hope you enjoy your virtual tour of "LA CITE" |

Carcassonne certainly has wonderful tourist attractions due to its rich history. The Ramparts, Cemetery and the Basilique look interesting to visit, and so is the cathedral at Narbonne. Thanks for the virtual tour. ~ho & pang | tiabunna Mon Mar 30, 2009 23:51 UTC
