Restaurant Name: MELIA LAS ANTILLES
Melia Las Antillas offers one buffet restaurant and 3 a la Carte Restaurants.
The Buffet - Los Tainos - Open 7:30 - 10:00 for breakfast: 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for lunch and 7:00 to 10:00 for dinner.
Breakfast was awesome with an omelette station, breads, pastry, fruits ( pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, oranges and guava ), various meats (sausages, ham bacon ) and other dishes too numerous to mention.
Lunch was always very good, with lots of fish selections, chicken, pork, beef dishes and always the pasta station where the chef cooks your meal fresh (after picking out your pasta, past sauce and ingredients)
Dinner always featured a carving station with hip of beef, ham or turkey.
Favorite Dish: Italian Restaurant - Don Peperone - we did not eat here as we opted to go to the seafood restaurant twice.
Seafood Restaurant - Ranchon El Conuco - Hans had grilled lobster twice. The lobster was halved and grilled and came with vegetables. I had chicken fillet and beef filet and both were very good.
Romantico - We enjoyed our meal here very much. We started off with the appetizer of shrimp marinated in orange over squid noodles. Hans had satay of chicken with peanut butter sauce and I had a delicious beef filet with banana chips.
