Please read my travelogue for a day by day account of our trip!
My Mum took me to Maui when I was 5 years old and again when I was 8. Although I was quite young certain things about Maui never left me--the warm breeze, the waves crashing and the sweet smell of the Mauian breeze. I knew that one day I would return to turn these memories into reality again. Twenty-three years later (April 2006) I finally returned; this time with my husband. Once again my senses were overloaded. I think the overwhelming sensory stimuli is what makes Maui never leave you. You are forever permeated with the sights, sounds, smells and feelings from this magnificant place. |
