After much waiting my favourite restaurant is Phnom Penh has opened it doors in Saigon, fantastic spanish fare, spanish chefs, spanish wine and smack in the middle of town.

Not sure where this should go, run big the larger than life Lannie, this is a restaurant, bar and mini hotel. I spend far far too much time here. Been open nearly a eleven years now and serves the best burgers in town by far, beers very cold and the company is......"interesting"

Restaurant Name: O'Brians Factory

Although the name is Irish, there is nothing Irish about it. Run by Bernie, who's French, this place I reckon does the best pizza in town (go for the O'Brians Special), cooked in a wood fired oven. Big place, great pool table and hang out for advertising people.

The best value sushi restaurant in town, the plate of 41 pieces for US$22 can't be beat.

Restaurant Name: Camargue

This is a long standing favorite, some of the best food in town, well worth the price. Used to eat in the first one in Hong Kong many years ago, and the one here is just as good. Run by Alexander and his wife Thy, it's in the heart of district one, beautifull balcony layout and I personally have had some of the best european meals I've had in this country.
Bonus is that the bar downstairs, Vascos, is one of the best bars in town, just done up with terrace kitchen and new live music.

Restaurant Name: Al Frescos

This place has to have a mention, for ridiculous sized portions of great aussie food try this place. Had to show a picture of the ribs, which are the best I've tasted anywhere, this portion is enough to feed a small family for a week.

Restaurant Name: Wrap and Roll

After living here so long I have got a bit fed up of Vietnamese food, no offence to the wifes cooking. But glad to say this new resataurant has reawakened me taste buds. Every type of spring roll you can imagine at great prices.

Restaurant Name: The Refinery

This place recently opened and will deffinately reccomend it. The owner of Au Parc (great deli joint near cathedral) just opened this, amazing location right oposite the Hyatt on Hai Bai trung, in a small courtyard that used to be part of the opium refinery. Food is european stuff and very good, sit outside on the terrace and enjoy being outdoors in the heart of the city.

Favorite Dish: Crab cakes mmmmmmm

Restaurant Name: Mekong merchant

This is one of the only garden restaurants, as in ones that serve decent food, in town. Sunday afternoon expat relaxing place across the river in district 2, food excellent, they have seafood flown in from Phu Quoc in the morning so pretty dam fresh.

Restaurant Name: Au Parc

This is my lunch about three times a week, great deli seving gourmet sandwhiches and salads (and some main courses). The restaurant itself is on the park in fron of the reunification palace, very chic but very busy with expats at lunch so get there early.

Favorite Dish: Turkey breast on baguette with local mozzarella, pesto, lettuce and oven dried tomatoes......mmmmmmmm
