Home sweet home.....

Newport Beach

Newport Beach, CA
Although I live in L.A. county, Orange county feels just like home. It is not far from where I live and it always greets me and my friends with warmer weather than L.A. and a relaxed atmosphere.
Freeways get wider and less 'crowded' and the beaches are arguably better than the ones in L.A. county.
In Newport Beach, there are a few residential islands which are interconnected by numerous bridges. Lido Isle, one of those islands is where John Wayne's spent last years of his life. It does not have the same luxurious glamour as Beverly Hills but it surely does have some distinctive O.C. vibe.

Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach is located south of Newport Beach and north of Dana point. It attracts more younger crowd than Newport Beach.(although it still cannot beat Huntington Beach in that matter) However, do not assume this town will be like Venice, California. Laguna Beach is home to the annual art festival in August. There are tons of galleries and 'budget-friendly' restaurants.

Disney Fair

A trip to L.A. cannot be completed without a visit to its world famous theme parks. There are plenty of choices for various tastes, but Disneyland and Universal Studios still seem to remain on tourists' top priority.
A recent addition to Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure offers more dynamic and exciting rides to people who are tired of Disney's traditional "It's a small world" boat ride.
However, Disneyland still sees loads and loads of tourists who want to catch a glimpse of Disney fantasy.
