Virginia Water is a beauty spot that has a lake, woods, a totem pole from Canada. It has been used in Harry Potter films and is a nice place to have a picnic or a stroll.
In May the gardens come alive with a raft of colours from all of the Azaleas and Rhododendrons that grow there. |

MikeBird Wed Oct 15, 2008 22:10 UTC I wonder if the Ruddy Ducks have a go at the swans! Now that would be an ugly duckling........ | craic Sun Oct 21, 2007 00:06 UTC oh those ruddy ducks! | pine2903 Sun Jul 23, 2006 22:26 UTC 'No swimming'? It was difficult for me to understand why you are not supposed to swim in the lake. I found a good place to get into water and enjoyed swimming. But I would be happy if someone advised me on places to swim in this area. pine2903@yahoo.co.uk | Mariajoy Sat Jul 22, 2006 09:06 UTC Nice page Andy. I've never been but it might be worth it just to check out that huge Totem pole! I read recently that it was considered bad luck by American Indians to have the biggest pole in the village!! |
