Parque Nacional del Teide Packing List Tips by easyoar Top 5 Page for this destination

Teide National Park - Parque Nacional del Teide

Teide National Park

Almost no shops at all

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Take tough walking shoes, the volcanic rock will slice up soft shoes in no time.

When it comes to clothes, you can't really take too much, it is very cold at the top, so a jumper and coat - preferably waterproof are best.

Photo Equipment: Don't forgt your camera as the views are awesome. There are no shops at the top, so make sure you have enough film/memory card before you get to the top!

Miscellaneous: A watch. Make sure you find out the time of the last Cable Car back down, and be there early as the last few trips down can get very full, and you would not want to spend a night up there!

Also make sure you have some food and drink with you as you can't buy any at the peak. They do sell food and drink at the lower cable car station however.
