Plaza Mayor

This is the Central Square in Valladolid (a few minutes walk from the Campo Grande). It has recently been renovated and repainted and looks much more impressive. It is almost pedestrianised these days, and is a common place for people to congregate in Valladolid.

The Campo Grande

This is the Central Park of Valladolid. It has a small lake with ducks and nice gardens containing red squirrels, peacocks, black swans and a lot of birdlife. It also has playgrounds for children and is used as a shortcut by the locals. It is definitely one of the nicer places in Valladolid.
