Peaceful but entertaining little town The city is quite young. Built near the surrounding industrial sites the town developed as these enterprises grew bigger. The bigger they became the more tax they paid which made the city the richest in the region.
There are parks, hotels, leisure centers - yes the plural is correct even if only 20,000 inhabitants live in the city. Spring, summer and autumn festivals enternain the people. Among these there are several sport events to combine culture with. The most attractive is the triathlon world cup race in late July early August.
Budapest is in a reach (1.5 hour by car on the motorway) so as the mountain region and the Great Plain. |
