Well you can meet with the geishas in the narrow streets in Gion and also can taste the tea ceromony(chado) by them for 30.000 jy in some houses. I advice you to see a Bunraku in Gion..japanese puppet show for about 1000jy and you can have a chado in the same place nearly the same prize.

Golden temple or Tourist meeting center:) Well I have to say it is very nice but you cant go inside of this temple..just looking from outside from a distance...

One of the famous ji's or pavillıons or temples:) of kyoto and also japan. It has got a very huge lake in its garden and you can also get into the temple. Its just below (5min walk) from Golden temple. You will meet many tourists and cant find much more interesting than its stone garden.

Flower arrangement (Kado) is one of the beautiful japanese arts. You can find a short course in Kyoto or just watch a Kado in Gion area. 500-1000JY
