If you like to hike, take some time to plan a day trip to Thorens-Glières. We went here with our friend, Dave, for a hike that he called "an easy one"...liar!

Yes, it was tough, but when we reached the top and saw the view, we realized that it was worth it.

It's always easier to go down than it is to go up...that's why I look so happy and relaxed in this picture! I was rejuvinated after we stopped at the top, had some snacks and enjoyed the view.
