I had always wanted to go to Spain ever since I was a little child. I almost felt like I had lived in Spain in one of my past lives. I even did a presentation on Spain – the country where I had never been before – in my Spanish class in my American high school. That’s probably why I decided to learn the Spanish language in the first place. Finally my dream came true and I took this long-awaited trip to the beautiful country of Spain – to the land of wonderful people, great food, amazing landscape, breath-taking architecture and many more magical things. The country has so much to offer!

I was staying in Madrid and from there I traveled to Salamanca, Toledo, Granada, Seville, Barcelona, and to some little villages. Every town, every city was better than the other. I always knew it and I did fall in love with Spain! I felt like I was at home. People surrounding me made feel that way :) Of course everywhere you go, there’ll be really nice people and some people who are not so nice. Well in Spain all the people were really nice! I guess I must’ve looked like one of them because tourists would come up to me quite often to ask for directions.

This story wouldn’t be complete without the mention of one of the best cuisines in the world! Tapas, paella, and of course sangria ;-) I don’t eat pork but still there was plenty of other food to eat anywhere.
Oh yes, the shopping was great, the nightlife was awesome and it sure was “living la vida loca” :)))
