"Capital of Turkiye" Ankara by Minashka

Ankara was much bigger than I thought... It's a nice city but I am so used to the Caspian Sea that for me no city is that beautiful if it doesn't have a view of the sea or at least a river! When I went to the top of Atakule (tall tower) my eyes kept searching for for a sign of water somewhere :)))
Like most of the capital cities, Ankara has also got that conservative touch to it. But it's still got nice shopping malls, bars/pubs, restaurants, museums etc. Though I must say I didn't see any cool night clubs or discos ;-)

I have such good friends in Ankara! That's a major reason I'll keep going back to that city... All of them are so nice - with amazing personalities. Thanks to them I have the warmest memories of the place!

• Pros:Wonderful people, fresh air, great food!
• Cons:No sea or river :(
• In a nutshell:Not as conservative as it may seem at the beginning
