Dolmabahce Palace is my favourite place in Istanbul! It is amazingly beautiful and right by the seaside. The palace was built on the order of Sultan Abdülmecid by 1856 and the following Sultans lived there as well :) There is a clock tower by the entrance and inside you will find the Harem and the main part of the palace. It is a must-see when visiting Istanbul and in the Harem building you will even see the bedroom of Ataturk when he lived his last days there... The entire palace is very well decorated and will take your breath away!
