Take the NKVE to Ipoh

Take the NKVE from Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya and head North/"Utara". The signs will tell you that you are heading towards Rawang, Penang & Ipoh. Travelling at approximately 110 km/h (within the speed limit), you will reach Ipoh in about 2 hours.

The PLUS expressway is in good condition and as you approach Ipoh, you will see the limestone caves on your left and right. There are several exits to Ipoh. The first gets you to Ipoh South and the next takes you to Ipoh North. To get to the Lost World of Tambun, take exit 139.
