"Bantayan Island - A taste of Paradise" Bantayan by npamo

Going to Bantayan will give you time to see the Cebu countryside. From Manila, you will spend at least 6 hours of travel time. First about an hour plane ride, followed by a taxi ride (15 mins) to the North Terminal, where you will take a bus going to Hagnaya wharf in San Remegio (3 hours), then a 1 1/2 hour ride on a ro-ro (roll on-roll off ship) and finally a tricycle ride to your resort.

About a 30 minute banca ride from Bantayan Island, you pay a 50 pesos entrance as this is a private island. With this, you get to use their picnic huts and swim for a day.

The pier in Bantayan Island is located in the town of Sta. Fe, one of the three towns on the island. The other two are Bantayan and Madridejos. This is where you will find most of the resorts with white sand.
