Best time to visit is summer.
French is spoken alot.
The beach is great, but beware of sharks! The locals knows but they don't tell you.

I drove from Europe into Africa, as an adventure.
My first trip was with an Arab friend who spoke Arabic - a very important quality! They also speaks French there, but mine is rusty.
From Spain we took a ship-crossing,. I was driving a 4-wheeler ; and towing a small caravan plus a moto-cross bike, So I wasn't exactly able to cope with strange and very confusing Morroccan traffic.
luckily we found our way south, going over the mountain pass we soon got onto the coastal road.
Its a lovely drive down south towards Casablanca.
On arrival, I stayed at my Arab friend's house; thoroughly enjoyed the local hospitality. Then, for some fun - we towed the caravan to the beach further south and spent our summer (nearly 2 months) just doig nothing on the beach. W were joined by thousands of French and some German . It appears that the french has a tradition of coming to this country for their summer.

Afte my first trip, I returned for another summer the next year, then again in that winter.
