FAMOUS FOR ... ... ...

The old Dutch city named *GOUDA* is famous for some very good reasons.

Ofcourse the kaas or cheese is world-wide known and the very first reason.
When visiting *GOUDA* you have to try the *GOUDA* kaas,
from the very young delicious creamy one
to the very old crumbly smelling cheese
all gold-yellow coloured ...

The second reason got famous and is not a really Dutch one.
Even it will be for the 51st time in 2006.
It is Christmas time in the centre of *GOUDA*, on the Market Place.
A huge Christmas tree out of Kongsberg, Norway (is a gift),
has been placed in front of the famous *GOUDA* St. Johns Church.
Famous artists will create a breath-taking light show, to be seen on the front of the St. Johns Church ...

(and some other reasons are the historical places,
some beautiful buildings,
the book-market and some other market events ...
and some spiritual events around *GOUDA* )
